Financial Management Responsibility

As I write this the 44th President of the United States is making his first speech after the moving inauguration. (Has anyone else noticed his precious daughters?) What I have learned from President O’Bama little known a year ago is that anyone can do or become anything that they decide to do or become with the vision and determination to do so.

Most people say that they do not have time to learn about managing their money. What if you made the time? Is there anything that you could discontinue that would allow for the time? Would you agree that financial resources are important? A scheduled hour once a week would make a huge difference.

Some say that they do not have an interest in learning about financial management. What if you changed your attitude to one of gratitude for the resources you have and embraced the responsibility of being the best financial steward that you could become? What are the causes you could help with the determination to meet your financial goals? How would you feel about being more capable in the area of financial management?

January has the feel of new beginnings all month to me. Let 2009 be the year you decide and learn about managing your assets. Think how glad you will be one year from now with a committed one hour a week this year.
