Founder Camille Gaines has three decades of firsthand experience that provide a solid foundation for helping other women get results. A background in energy trading and futures accounting, financial training, and commercial real estate laid the framework for Camille’s own journey as a financially empowered woman. Being inspired by her money savvy parents, she bought her own home by age 25 on a small salary using the Savvy Rich Cash Flow™ Formula she teaches. Two years later she had put away enough money through timely investing in the stock market to venture into her dream job while being her own boss. Her Savvy Rich philosophy emphasizes that you can surround your life with beauty and style while also living with financial peace.
Having bought her first mutual fund in 1981, Camille has personally invested at all different levels, in almost every type of product, including small business and real estate. She has worked with numerous financial professionals, giving her the ability to easily guide others through the maze of services and products to understand their options for those who want to choose their own investments or work with a financial adviser. What sets Camille apart from many others offering financial education is that her experience has been on the investor side of the table, not selling wealth management products or advisory services; this allows her to have a completely unbiased and refreshing perspective that puts others at ease.
Always having an eye for value and opportunity, in 2004 Gaines spotted the “totally irresistible” Return on Investment opportunity that the internet offered for small business owners. She completely immersed herself in hundreds of internet and small business programs. In 2007, she launched Financial Woman based on her passion to empower women around money following the devastating experience that her family had when her father, an avid investor, died suddenly. She went on to co-found a second highly successful financial educational company in 2010.
Today she leads both companies and creates programs teaching her Savvy Rich Income™ Method to select private clients and groups helping others to recognize their expertise to boost their income in the fastest and lowest cost way doing work they enjoy. She shows women how to strategically rebuild their wealth, expand their confidence, and create new income streams that will rebuild their retirement accounts and enhance their lifestyle.
Camille’s first book, Earn, Grow, Give; Simple Steps to Creating a Rich Life, reached Amazon Best-Seller status. Her works are also featured in a second book, Smart Women Live Their Why, highlighting successful entrepreneurial women. Camille can be found in numerous media outlets, including KENS Live TV, More, Ladies Home Journal, and WHOA magazine nationwide as the regular financial columnist. She was a financial expert speaker at the 2012 Texas Conference for Women.
Camille lives her “savvy rich” philosophy by finding value everywhere, from undervalued investments to designer jewelry online.
